2018 is About Courage

The beginning of the year, I chose COURAGE to be my word.

The courage to let go of people, things, and habits, to make time for the ones that truly matter. Letting go and closing chapters meant starting new ones. By letting go, I learned about friends who always got my back, and how my family will always be my constants. By letting go, I saw the world in a whole new light. Everything is uncertain yet exciting. I feel stronger and braver. Each time I let go, it felt like breaking free from everything that keeps me from growing and being the best version of myself. I focused on what truly matters.

This year I also had the courage to jump. To stop overthinking things and just going for it. To pushing myself more. To removing the caps others and I have put on myself and encouraging others to do so as well.

This year, I had to courage to love myself more. I am blessed. I am surrounded with love and I get to wake up everyday excited and grateful. I am building something that is truly mine and the possibilities are endless. What’s not to love?

I am giving myself a pat on the back. And I’m glad I had the courage to do another thing I have been wanting to do for the longest time – make a blog! I’m just jumping and seeing where it goes. I’m so glad you’re here!
